Mount Olive Lutheran Church and School is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-- Missouri Synod. Our Synod consists of around 6,000 congregations, divided into 35 Districts. We are a member of the Iowa District West (IDW). The IDW numbers 175 congregations.

Our Synod is headquartered in St. Louis, MO. The Rev. Dr. Gerald Kieschnick is the President of our Synod. Our District is headquartered in Fort Dodge, IA and our District President is Rev. Paul Sieveking.
